This wideband directional loop antenna kit allows you build a wide range of antennas to allow to receive from VLF Very Low Frequency through Shortwave.
Supplied with table showing the wire turns values and capacitor ranges needed for tuning the various bands.
Typically 50 to 400 pF range is used. See our variable capacitors.
You can greatly boost Longwave, AM, Shortwave reception up to 7 MHz band with this antenna you can make.
The antenna works indoors, it senses the magnetic field portion of the radio waves.
If used for transmitting, you can match in the range of 50 to 300 ohms load with 1:1 SWR, you can adjust the SWR and ohms load fully to match your individual radio.
Can be used for transmitting and receiving.
Wire available seprately.
