Part Number 60KSRA. This 7 inch long antenna is factory pretuned to 60 KHz. This is the National Beauru of Standards Time Signal Station WWVB, that transmits on 60 KHz from Colorado and can be received globally on Low Frequecy Band.

This antenna can be used to recieve this station. The signals are affected by daytime, night time, solar eclipses, space weather.

You can build a receiver to monitor the signal and chart the signal level over time, allowing some radio astronomy to be done.

You can also build a lightning detector using the antenna.
